Southern Threads Design (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit southernthreadsdesign.com (the “Site”), shop online, submit a quote request, upload artwork, or interact with us by email, phone, SMS, or social media.

By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

1) Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details: name, email, phone, billing/shipping address.

  • Order and payment details: products, sizes, preferences, order notes. (Payment card data is processed by our payment providers and is not stored on our servers.)

  • Quote/form submissions: project details, quantities, deadlines, notes.

  • Artwork & files you upload (logos, designs, brand guidelines).

  • Communications: emails, SMS, reviews, and support messages.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location.

  • Cookies, pixels, and similar tech for core functionality, analytics, and advertising (see §7).

Information from third parties

  • Payment processors, shipping carriers, fraud-prevention providers.

  • Analytics and marketing platforms (e.g., Google, Meta).

  • Social media platforms if you interact with our profiles or use social login.

2) How We Use Information

  • Analytics and advertising partners to measure and improve our Site and ads (see §7).

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some cookie-based advertising and analytics may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws—see §8 for your choices.

4) Your Choices

  • Marketing emails/SMS: Use the unsubscribe link in emails, reply STOP to SMS, or contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

  • Account & order info: If you create an account, you can access or update certain details in your dashboard. Otherwise contact us.

  • Cookies & tracking: See §7 for controls and opt-out options.

  • Artwork & content: Only upload content you own or have rights to share. You may request deletion of uploaded files that are not required for recordkeeping or legal obligations.

5) Data Retention

We keep information as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill orders, comply with legal/ tax requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data per our retention practices.

6) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.

7) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar tech to:

  • Enable core Site functionality (cart, checkout, login).

  • Perform analytics and measure traffic (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • Personalize content and ads; measure campaign performance (e.g., Meta Pixel).

California (CPRA): We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may engage in activities that qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (e.g., using advertising cookies/pixels). You can opt out of “sharing” via your cookie settings and by contacting us. We disclose categories of personal information described in §1 for the purposes in §2 to the parties in §3. We do not knowingly collect or share personal information of users under 16.

Virginia/Colorado/Connecticut/Utah and other U.S. state laws: We honor applicable state rights and opt-out mechanisms. Use the methods above to submit requests.

EEA/UK: You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9) Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. You can use the controls in §7 and §8 to manage tracking and advertising preferences.

10) Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

11) International Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These locations may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

12) Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This Policy does not cover those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required, notified by email or banner.
